Make a slow drip irrigation device by cutting small slits in the bottom and sides of a plastic soda pop bottle, milk jug, juice bottle or other plastic container. Bury the bottle partway in the soil near your plants. You can fill the bottle quickly and the water will drip slowly into the soil.
